Road resurfacing work will be carried out on Dunbar High Street over three days, starting on Monday, 10 March.
The High Street will be closed to traffic between the junction with West Port and the junction with Westgate from 8:30am until 4pm Monday-Wednesday for the improvements to be undertaken safely.
There will also be restrictions to on street parking which will be marked out in advance with yellow no waiting cones and information signs.
Vehicle access will be available out with the closure times. Pedestrian access and emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout while signage will be in place for a diversion route.
The 130 bus service will divert via the A1087 until it picks up its normal route, with temporary bus stops in place.
Refuse and recycling collections will be undertaken before 8:30am where practical. Residents are asked to please ensure their bins/boxes are out for 7am on collection days.
An East Lothian Council spokesperson said: “Weather permitting, the necessary work will be carried out between Monday, 10 March and Wednesday, 12 March. Any changes will be updated on www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.”
