Following the launch of the digital version of the East Lothian Gift Card in November 2024, the council’s Economic Development Team is thrilled to announce a new giveaway to encourage even more local spending.
The first 60 customers who make a purchase at participating East Lothian Gift Card businesses and share their experience will receive a free £10 digital gift card.
Participants simply need to:
- Shop at any participating business
- Take a photo of their receipt
- Email the receipt and a brief testimonial to the team with 'GIFT CARD' in the subject line
Testimonials can include compliments about the store or service, thoughts on the East Lothian Gift Card, or comments on the importance of supporting local businesses.
The competition will close on February 28th 2025, or when all 60 gift cards have been claimed, whichever comes first. Only one gift card can be claimed per customer. Winners will receive instructions on how to claim their digital gift card via email after the competition has closed.
This campaign is designed to reward residents for shopping locally while continuing to highlight the convenience of the new digital format for the East Lothian Gift Card. With a diverse range of participating businesses, the card has already become a popular way to support the local economy while offering a versatile gift option for all occasions.
