Council response to Storm Éowyn
Council teams have been working day and night to deal with the impacts of Storm Éowyn. Staff are working through a significant number of incidents and calls, with a focus on keeping local communities and infrastructure safe and this will continue to be the case in the coming days.
Work includes assessing damage, clearing debris and carrying out repairs where required.
It will take time to respond to all of these issues and challenges and we will deal with them on a priority basis.
We have been working closely with partners and regular meetings of our severe weather response group have been held. We’ll continue to closely monitor conditions and local infrastructure.
Our sincere thanks to local communities for your support, patience and understanding at this time.
