East Lothian’s pilot 'East L Go' DRT (Demand Responsive Transport) 131 bus service between Dunbar and Oldhamstocks will end on Friday 19 July.
This was a funded pilot scheme to allow us to trial a new form of transport provision, originally over a three-month period.
Information gathered during this pilot will help us with our planning to improve the transport network and options for active travel throughout the county.
DRT is a new way of delivering transport and the East L Go pilot has been successful with over 1,000 journeys booked during the pilot scheme.
Owing to its success we have proven the potential for its future use subject to further available funding.
