Support to access vaccination hub venues for individuals with mobility issues continues to be available from the Royal Voluntary Service. In addition the Vaccination Bus will continue to be used to support key vaccination programmes providing local access for county residents. Fiona Wilson, comments, “Since the launch of the country wide Covid-19 vaccination programme, the Primary Care teams have gone above and beyond, to reach as many people as possible and provide the protection against the virus. Like other vaccines, levels of protection may reduce over time, so it important that eligible individuals continue to receive the booster doses when offered.”
“We are incredibly grateful to East Lothian Council, and the Communities and Estates Service in particular, for granting us a special lease to occupy the Haddington Corn Exchange. Likewise we offer our sincere thanks to Haddington High Street business for their kindness, generosity and support. The Corn Exchange has proven to be an invaluable location to host our vaccination programme to date, and for this I offer my sincere thanks to both the Council and the community.”
