Krista Clubb, East Lothian Health and Social Care Vaccination Manager, said: “There has been a very positive response to the launch of the vaccination centre within Haddington Corn Exchange.
“The team have been working incredibly hard to vaccinate as many people as fast as possible. Between Thursday and Sunday, more than 2,000 people attended the Corn Exchange on a drop-in basis. This is, of course, in addition to those who have been attending pre-arranged appointments elsewhere.
“The Corn Exchange is open daily and is now offering boosters to all residents aged over 18. Appointments can be made on-line or you can visit the drop-in clinic.
“The East Lothian Community Hospital and other locations in the NHS Lothian area continue to be used for appointments. All adults over the age of 18 can book their booster vaccination appointment in advance using the online portal http://www.nhsinform.scot/vaccinebooking.”
