Meet Susan our team leader for Customer Feedback and FOI teams.
Susan joined East Lothian Council in 2019 after an extensive career in the private sector, working in a fast paced banking environment. She worked as a complaints team manager and supported large teams with legislative requests and training. Susan manages two teams within the council, the Customer Feedback Team which deals with customer enquiries and our translation service and FOI Team, helping to deal with information requests such as FOI/EIR and Subject Access Requests. Susan explains it has been a challenging time due to covid. However her teams have been able to adapt to the new conditions and continue to provide an excellent service. Susan said: “My role is extremely varied and every day is a school day. I enjoy helping customers, supporting key services and engaging with stakeholders.” Susan also said: “It’s great to receive positive comments/compliments about the services we provide such as waste services, property maintenance and revenues to give a few examples."
