Weather conditions affecting some services
Due to current weather and road conditions Yester, Elphinstone, Innerwick, St Martins RC and Saltoun Primary Schools will be closed today. This affects the limited number of pupils currently attending for lessons in these school buildings. In addition home to school transport will not be operating today for those children and young people who are currently attending school buildings for lessons.
Household waste and recycling collections will not be picked up today and the recycling sites are also closed.
- Kerbside box Recycling collections, including food waste, that were due to be picked up today(Thursday) will now be collected on Sunday.
- Green bin refuse collections due to be picked up today will be collected tomorrow (Friday), If we are not able to collect tomorrow please put out on Monday.
- Brown bin garden waste collections have been suspended for Thursday and Friday to assist with the refuse collection catch up. Please put these bins out next week from Monday - collections will then be carried out throughout the week.
- The Recycling Centres will open as normal from tomorrow (Friday) – Please remember to only visit if essential.
- Our bulky uplifts planned for today will be uplifted tomorrow where possible.
- All collections except for brown bins will go ahead as normal on Friday as scheduled
