Two sections of the A1 will be closed on successive nights later this week for roadworks.
The road will be closed southbound at Gladsmuir (near Haddington) from 8pm on Wednesday until 6am on Thursday for surfacing works being carried out on behalf of Amey and Transport Scotland.
The following evening it will be closed northbound at Gladsmuir (near Tranent) from 8pm on Thursday until 6am on Friday for the same reasons.
Diversions will be in place.
