Guidance issued by the Scottish Government/Public Health Scotland/Electoral Commission/Election Management Board will be followed and alterations applied as required.
- a one way system will be in operation (where possible)
- appropriate signage will be in place
- Information Officers will be managing queues/number of voters in at one time
- hand sanitiser will be provided at the entrance to each polling place
- touch points will regularly be cleaned
- screens will be in place between poll staff and voters
- voters should not give their poll card to staff and should take this home with them
- voters should bring their own pen/pencil
- single use pencils will be provided (if taken, voters must take this away with them)
- voters wishing to hand in a postal vote should give this to the Information Officer rather than going into the actual polling station
