Families together East Lothian are a service who aims to offer support to families at the right time and that meets their needs.
We aim to be a one stop shop for families providing a tailored service.
We are a voluntary service so if you choose to work with us, we will build kind compassionate relationships with you and listen to your family’s need. We will work with you enable you to have greater choice and live well within your community and beyond.
Whatever your set up, Families Together East Lothian are here to help children, young people and those who look after them in lots of different ways. Our dedicated team provides tailored support to help you deal with some of the challenges that come with family life. We'll build strong relationships with you and your family to help you thrive together.

Families can feel under pressure for all sorts of reasons. We want to help when difficulties begin.
Families Together provide confidential support built around your family’s specific needs and circumstances.
Families have asked for our support with:
- children and family life
- what they can access locally
- finance and budgeting
- household issues
After working with us, families have said they feel more confident and know who they can turn to for help in their local area.
Together we'll work on what matters most to you and your family by building on your skills and strengths and improving your confidence in dealing with day-to-day family situations.
Enquiries are welcome from families, schools, health visitors... anyone who thinks we may be able to help. There are some limits to what we can offer, and other services may be better placed to support. However, we will always strive to find the right support for you and your circumstances.
