Social work and dementia carer support
As your dementia progresses, you may feel like you need more support at home, or have difficulty in managing your personal care.
Social work can assess your needs to determine what support might best suit your circumstances.
Help is also available for unpaid carers in their own right. Carers can be a partner, friend or family member.
All carers are now entitled to an Adult Carer Support Plan and carers can access a budget for support to help them in their caring role.
