Active Travel Infrastructure Strategy
The task of constructing a high-quality and attractive active travel network throughout the county is a big one, and each local community has their own priorities. Alongside several in-depth studies carried out by specialised consultancies, East Lothian's Active Travel Team have developed a methodology for assessing and comparing projects in order to make best use of available resources. This then informs our Active Travel Infrastructure Strategy, which will be first published in March 2024.
The intention is to refine and update the Strategy regularly in conjunction with local interest groups and funding partners, to reflect recent developments and ensure that all opportunities are fully exploited.
