If you're an East Lothian Council tenant and need advice about your rent payments or rent arrears, call into one of our advice surgeries.

You can drop-in for a friendly chat, or if you prefer to make an appointment, just get in touch in advance and we'll arrange this for you.  

Musselburgh Jobcentre Plus

A Rent Income Officer will be based in the Jobcentre Plus office in Musselburgh once a week to provide an advice surgery for anyone in need of help. 

The surgery is held on a Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm. 

Bleachingfield Centre, Dunbar

A Rent Income Officer will be based at The Bleachingfield Centre in Dunbar on the second Tuesday of every month from 10am to 12pm.

Upcoming surgery dates are as follows:

• 8 October 
• 12 November
• 14 January
• 11 February

The Ridge Centre, 88 High Street, Dunbar

A Rent Income Officer will be based at The Ridge Centre in Dunbar one Friday a month from 10am to 12pm.

• 29 November

• 24 January

• 21 February

The Pennypit Centre, Prestonpans

A Rent Income Officer will be based at The Pennypit Centre, Rope Walk, Prestonpans on the first Wednesday of every month from 10am to 12:30pm.

• 5 March

The George Johnstone Centre, Tranent

A Rent Income Officer will be based at The George Johnstone Centre, 35 Winton Place, Tranent on the last Wednesday of every month from 10am to 12:30pm.
