Food waste, recycling and non recyclable waste collections
Check your collection dates online
Remember to present all containers at the kerbside by 7am on the day of collection.
We will only collect material presented in the recycling and waste containers provided by East Lothian Council.
Garden waste collections
Collections restart on Monday 6 January – your collection day and week can be found on your permit.
Christmas trees
Real Christmas trees can be either: 1. taken to a recycling centre to be composted or 2. presented beside your brown bin on garden waste collection dates in January - if you have a garden waste collection permit.
Recycling centres
Our recycling centres are usually open seven days a week, from 8:30am to 5pm.
