Who / what is the East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership?

ELHSCP brings together the health staff within East Lothian Council's Social Work and Social Care teams and the Health teams working in East Lothian for NHS Lothian.

Together, we work as one integrated team, to deliver the best health, best care and best value for East Lothian residents, providing support, advice and services to ensure everyone can live their lives to their fullest potential.

Who would I be employed by?

Depending on the role, you may either be employed by East Lothian Council or NHS Lothian.

Either way, you are entitled to all of the employment terms and conditions, staff benefits, holiday entitlements and pension schemes associated with your employer organisation.

Once in post, it is very common for you to work day-to-day with multi-discipliary teams from within each organisation to help support patients, service users and their families / carers.
